What does data collection mean for a child’s future?

We often see parents using technology as a baby sitter.  That’s pretty concerning, but then I see children in the 8, 9, to 12 range with YouTube channels, and Instagram movie channels, and discussion forums on Facebook.  It’s a little bit more than concerning — knowing there are stalkers and predators collecting their every move!

Just when you were beginning to feel safe …

Does your internet browser seem to suddenly slow down with no apparent reason? At certain times of the day, does it take forever to bring up Google? Fred Showker  I got an email the other day from a fellow who found a suspect link on one of my pages.  Oh my!  But he had wandered onto a page I posted in 2009 about anti-virus software for the Mac.   So, he suggests I replace the link with his link — a crafty way to get his link into my site!  I think all Mac owners probably should take a look . . .
