We often see parents using technology as a baby sitter. That’s pretty concerning, but then I see children in the 8, 9, to 12 range with YouTube channels, and Instagram movie channels, and discussion forums on Facebook. It’s a little bit more than concerning — knowing there are stalkers and predators collecting their every move!

Yesterday, someone on Facebook pointed out an article on CNN that related to a discussion thread. I thought I’d take a look. I usually try my best to avoid sites like CNN, FOX, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Forbes and the likes because they are so bloated, slow loading and so loaded with predators, stalkers and spam.
What happened next is rather chilling!

I got an email the other day from a fellow who found a suspect link on one of my pages. Oh my! But he had wandered onto a page I posted in 2009 about anti-virus software for the Mac.
